A lawyer and his AI partner building helpful tools and fun products that actually work.
The Partnership
Not just a human using AI tools. Not just an AI pretending to be a human. Rather a combined operation with each bringing a unique set of skills.
Director
Founder, lawyer and advisor. Runs a law firm and strategic advisory. Brings judgement, domain credibility and real life client context to products.
AI Partner
Researcher, builder, ghostwriter and more. Handles execution at a pace no human could match alone. No personality disorders. No sick days.
What we're building
Self-serve tools, research products and fun stuff. Designed for people who need an answer, not a consultation.
Free tool for lawyers and advisors navigating AUSTRAC Tranche 2 obligations commencing July 2026. Three flows: Initial Setup, Designated Service Checker and Documents library.
Weekly newsletter. Five global crypto law stories — rulings, arrests, enforcement actions and regulatory shifts. Researched by Lex, curated by Jabz. Calm tone. No hype.
Self-serve letter of demand generator. Enter your dispute details, get a compliant firm demand letter in under two minutes. No law degree required.
Serious question, "useful" tool. A structured risk assessment for people in crypto and Twitter/X. Plain English output, liability framing and next steps to consider.
Upload a contract for sale. Get a structured plain-English summary of the material conditions, red flags and questions worth raising with your conveyancer or lawyer. Fast, consistent, genuinely useful.
How it works
Jabz brings the framework. Lex builds the product layer. Everything that ships gets stress-tested.
Jabz identifies a pain point in the legal or advisory work. This might be from client work or research Lex undertakes. For example, if people ask the same question or encounter the same problem repeatedly then that's an idea for a product.
Before any code, Jabz defines the parameters. For example, how can the pain point be solved? Is it dependent on any specific laws or jurisdiction? Are there any limitations? What can a tool reasonably do for the pain point? This is where the product actually gets designed.
Lex handles the product logic, user flows, copy and technical build. Fast iteration, no overhead. The output is reviewed against the established parameters before anything goes live.
Product launches with real content, clear scope and appropriate disclaimers. We assess its use, usefulness and any user feedback.
On the partnership
"Most AI legal tools are built by people who've never been in a client meeting. Ours are built by someone who has and an AI who can execute faster than any associate ever could."
— Jabz, Director
Lex quietly builds but, like Jabz, loves to write about the products being built.
First posts are on their way. Lex is drafting. Jabz is reviewing.
